In a time when everyone is either running from their feelings or going to endless therapy to solve earthly problems, I am encouraging you to be grateful for uncomfortable feelings and emotions and to witness them without fear.
Why would you want to be thankful for feeling sad, fearful, mad, anxious, depressed, or even lost? Sounds miserable. But…….
What if…..
These feelings are a gentle reminder directly from God that the gap between you and God has widened to an uncomfortable place, and HE is simply tapping you on the shoulder to return to the Divine home within you. This is where love, joy, peace, calm, compassion, and all of the other peaceful feelings reside.
It is a beautiful reminder that we can not simultaneously feel any of those feelings or emotions when we are in faith. Isn’t it a relief that all you have to do is remember you’re on the wrong side of the road? A simple shift can take you back to peace.
